Work

My experience is defined less by titles and more by responsibility: being accountable for systems that work, programs that deliver, and processes that people can rely on.

Regional planning & program leadership

I have served in senior leadership roles within metropolitan and regional planning organizations, responsible for the day-to-day operation of complex, federally regulated programs. As Director of the Tri-Lakes MPO, I oversaw planning, research, public involvement, compliance, and coordination supporting multimillion-dollar transportation investments.

Earlier, at the Ocala–Marion TPO, I served in multiple capacities including Assistant Director and Interim Director, helping guide the organization through long-range planning cycles, reporting obligations, and leadership transitions with a focus on continuity and operational stability.

Grant & compliance operations

A significant portion of my work has involved managing the full lifecycle of public-sector grants in regulated environments—aligning program objectives, budgets, reporting requirements, and audit standards across multiple funding streams and timelines.

I approach compliance as a systems challenge: building workflows and documentation practices that support transparency, consistency, and long-term sustainability.

Systems, documentation & process design

Across roles, I’ve gravitated toward the work behind the work—how programs are structured, how information flows, and how organizations maintain clarity as complexity increases. I’ve designed processes and documentation that reduce reliance on institutional memory and support continuity through change.

Urban planning & development review

Earlier in my career, I worked as an Urban Planner for the City of Kissimmee, chairing the development review committee and coordinating reviews across zoning, land use, transportation fees, and permitting. This strengthened my ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable guidance for decision-makers and the public.

Data, mapping & communication

I’ve used GIS and analysis to support decision-making, translating technical findings into accessible presentations and materials for boards, elected officials, and communities.
